Shipping Policy

We will endeavor to have your orders ready to send as soon as possible (stock availability may cause further delays). 

Order Processing

All products in stock will be processed and dispatched within 48-72 working hours of us receiving your order. Orders are processed and packaged during our office hours of 9-5pm, Monday to Friday. If you have placed your order on a weekend, we'll action this as soon as possible on the next proceeding working day. Please note the above information regarding possible delays with our shipping partners.

For those items which are made-to-order, or available pre-order only, your order will be processed within 24-48 working hours and you will be sent an email confirmation detailing the approximate delivery date of your items. If for any reason we are unable to meet this dispatch turnaround we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know. From time to time items on your order may be out of stock, in which case you will be notified either by email or phone, so please ensure your contact details are correct. We reserve the right to send a part order and send the remaining back order when it arrives. We will be in contact to provide those details to you.

Delivery within New Zealand

National Standard Delivery Plywood Direct Ltd will endeavour to deliver the goods to the delivery address as specified by the customer in an acceptable quality and in a timely matter. Please expect delays on orders during our busy summer season. Some delivery addresses are not suitable for plywood deliveries and a depot will need to be selected for the customer to collection from. 

Goods will not be delivered to a customer until payment for the order has been received in full. This will only be following confirmation by our bank that payment in full has been accepted. For credit card and direct credit payment, this is generally within 24 hours of order acceptance.

Once dispatched you should receive your order within 3-4 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays). Rural deliveries may take an extra 2-3 days on top of normal delivery time-frames. During some periods of the year, our courier or trucking time frames are extended. Plywood Direct does not claim liability for any delivery time changes that may be incurred.

Rural Delivery; Unfortunately, some rural delivery locals are not available for delivery. The customer may be required to pay an additional fee for this service, in which case Plywood Direct will communicate this before dispatch. 

Depot Collection Required; All orders which are delivered to a designated depot on behalf of the customer, must be collected within 24hrs. Additional fees may be charged to the customer for any order that is not collected, and are subject to any incursion fees by the Freight company. This is not the responsibility of Plywood Direct and payment will not be covered by Plywood Direct, it is the responsibility of the customer to pay this to whom it is owed.

Residential or Direct-to-Door Delivery

For all plywood orders, it is a requirement that someone is available at the delivery location to receive the order. If no one is available, any additional fees associated with redelivery are the responsibility of the customer for payment. A working forklift and licensed driver must be at the delivery address.  If this is not the case, we can organise delivery to a depot closest to you. Plywood Direct does not claim responsibility for any additional fees if the order cannot be delivered or any fees incurred for late collection. Some orders may need to be hand unloaded which is not a standard service for deliveries, and may incur additional fees. This will not be known until time of order processing and will be passed on to the customer accordingly for payment. Plywood Direct is not obligated to complete the order until payment has been received in full. 

Please note if you wish for the parcel to be left without signature you acknowledge that neither the courier nor Plywood Direct Ltd is liable for parcels that are stolen, damaged or lost after an item has been delivered.

Large/Bulk Order Shipping

Some orders may not be able to be shipped via our standard freight services. In which case we may need to amend or notify you of a change in delivery cost at any time during order processing. These large or bulk item orders will be delivered via pallet form. A working forklift and licensed driver must be at the delivery address.  If this is not the case, we can organise delivery to a depot closest to you. Plywood Direct does not claim responsibility for any additional fees if the order cannot be delivered or any fees incurred for late collection.

Refundable Pallets for very large orders for delivery in New Zealand the goods need to be palletised. To ensure palletised goods are carried safely and efficiently, Plywood Direct Ltd is operating a refundable pallet system, for some of the pallets used. There is an up-front fee of $25 GST inclusive per standard sized pallet for each shipment that we send out. But not to worry, the pallets are returnable, so as long as they are in good and reusable condition you will be refunded this fee once the pallet is returned to one of our premises. Only Ceracell branded pallets are refundable and you need to show us your invoice to confirm that the pallets returned were paid for.
